Comments/Description
Good sound, very lightweight, so extremely portable. Battery power does not last very long. Very popular amplifier, and a good deal for the price. A Class "T" amplifier, using a tripath chip.
The audio connection is 3.5mm (1/8") stereo mini, so not as solid as RCA. The placement of the connection, on the rear of the unit, is a bit awkward when speaker wire is connected. Comes with a small stereo mini cable. Spring loaded clips only for speaker connections are not as stable as posts or banana plug connectors, and can wear out over time with constant connecting/reconnecting.
5-year warranty.
Matching Equipment
Pairs well with most low powered exciters.

Comparisons
Comparable to the Lepai LP-2020a+ in terms of size, power, weight, and sound. The Lepai RCA inputs, but does not have the DTA-1's ability to run on batteries.
Cost
$29.80 - often goes on sale
